Maharashtra: Rush before fiscal- end slows down property registrations

Officials attributed the rush to the property buyers’ intention to get the registration process done before the implementation of 1% metro cess from April 1 and announcement of the new Ready Reckoner rates the same dav.

Heavy footfall at most property registration office across the state and the ensuing slowing down of the server are leaving consumers a hassled lot with 10 days to go before the financial year ends.
